This year you are going to learn the basic skills of reading music and playing an instrument. It's going to involve a lot of hard work on your part, but the REWARD will be a lifetime of fun!!!

Embouchure Slide Shows
Parents: There are two stores in Columbus which specialize in Band Instruments and supplies. There is Baker Music on Midtown Loop off Macon Road, and Everything Music on West Britt David Road, off Veterans Parkway. Both have will work with you on financing the instrument, and you can find the method book we will be using, Tradition of Excellence, as well as reeds, cork grease, valve oil, neckstraps, and other materials, there.
If you opt to use Amazon or other online stores, especially for instruments, please get with me to help you. Some of the instruments, while they are inexpensive, they are not very well constructed and you will not be able to repair them, should they get damaged. And understand, that this time of year, they are very slow getting other materials to you.
